The AAAAI, the ACAAI, and the AAOA all recommend IgE testing to diagnose environmental allergies. Our IgE test is nationally-used and CLIA-approved. Our test is recommended for adults and children who want to learn about their allergy triggers.
How long does it take to get my results?
It takes about 5-6 business days before your lab results are processed. Our team will reach out ASAP once we receive your results to schedule a time to go over them with you.
Is the Wyndly test covered by insurance? Do you accept HSA/FSA?
The Wyndly test and allergy treatments are currently out-of-pocket, but we set our prices to ensure they are lower than most insurance copays. We provide receipts for HSA and FSA reimbursement for any of our services.
What is IgE testing?
Specific IgE testing measures how reactive your immune system is to allergy molecules in the environment. It is a method of allergy testing that allows the patient to avoid multiple the needle sticks used in skin prick testing. At Wyndly, we treat the patient and not just the test, so we compare the results of your test with your story to fully understand your allergies.
Do I need to stop any medications or avoid any foods before taking the test?
With the Wyndly allergy test you can continue your regular diet and any medications you are taking.
Is there a risk of a severe allergy reaction, anaphylaxis or eczema?
No, our test is safe, and there is no risk of a severe allergy reaction, anaphylaxis, or eczema with our test. Our test does not expose you to anything you might be allergic to. In fact, our allergy blood testing is what is recommended for patients with a history of severe allergy reactions or eczema.
