If allergy shots aren’t a good option for you, your doctor has partnered with Wyndly to let you fix your allergies from home.
Here’s how it works:
1) Your doctor will write prescription to fix your allergies
2) Wyndly’s team will reach out to collect payment information and then ship your medications to your house. You’ll receive easy instructions on how to get started with your medications.
3) Your doctor and Wyndly will work with you until you feel better. You will follow up with your physician at regular intervals to ensure the treatment is working for you.
When will I feel better?
Most patients begin to notice initial improvements between 3-6 months, although some patients report improvements as early as 4 weeks. We recommend you schedule a 6 month follow-up visit with your doctor to check in, and you should see your doctor at least every year while on therapy.
How long will I need to take the medication?
Under the tongue immunotherapy uses the same medications as allergy shots- but you take them from home. Most patients are on therapy for between 3-5 years just like allergy shots. 3-5 years of therapy generally leads to long-term allergy relief for many years even after you stop taking the medication.
What is the difference between Allergy Drops and Allergy shots?
Allergy shots are a traditional method of allergy immunotherapy. Allergy drops use the same medications as allergy drops, but they are dosed so that you can take them orally and at home. The medication will absorb under your tongue. Because they are the same medication- just a different route of administration, when taken consistently both allergy shots and drops provide the same allergy benefits.
Over time, your body becomes desensitized to your allergy triggers and you feel better.
Why are allergy drops not covered by insurance?
Allergy drops are a newer technique of allergy immunotherapy so unfortunately health insurance does not cover them yet.
If at any time we are able to get insurance coverage, your doctor will inform you immediately.
What is the cost?
We offer two payment plans:
Most patients choose our annual plan which comes with sayings. That plan has a rate of $99 a month, and you pay for the full year up front at $1188.
The other plan is our quarterly plan, which has a rate of $110 month, and it’s done in 3 month shipments so you’ll pay $330 every 3 months.
If you choose the annual plan you’ll save $10 a month, or $120 over the course of the year and most patients choose it because they know they’ll be on therapy for at least a year to ensure they give their body enough time to change. And since we want to give you a good experience, if you commit to a year but your doctor has to stop you or treatment doesn’t work out, we’ll always refund the prorated amount.
