Seasonal and indoor allergies are a problem for millions of Americans. Fortunately, allergy testing and treatments are becoming more accessible and widely available for those suffering from allergies. So, when you come across multiple companies offering to help with your allergies, how do you choose the right option?
Wyndly is the best way to treat your allergies from home and find lifelong relief from your symptoms. Often, when people search for allergy testing options, they also come across 7DROPS. 7DROPS provides allergy testing but lacks any allergy treatment options.
Wyndly doctors specialize in fixing allergies forever
Unlike 7DROPS, Wyndly is led by a team of guiding allergy researchers and doctors, committed to offering approachable solutions for allergy testing and treatment. Our doctors are dedicated to listening to your allergy history and concerns and working with you to create a personalized treatment plan based on your allergy profile.
While 7DROPS offers allergy testing, their focus is scattered across several areas of wellness, at Wyndly, we’re focused solely on allergy testing and treating allergies with immunotherapy. Since immunotherapy is the most effective solution for long-term allergy relief, we only offer the best care. We also know that your allergy care deserves better than a one-size fits all solution. Our doctors will include you in the process of creating your treatment plan since you know what will be most sustainable for you.
Wyndly provides 24/7 expert doctor support – not just nurses
Making our patients feel comfortable and heard is just as important to us as our expert allergy-facing care. When you’re working on long-term treatment for something like allergies, you want to be able to talk to your doctor and feel like you can easily approach them when you have questions or concerns. At Wyndly, we’re dedicated to our patients. Unlike other solutions, you’ll talk one-on-one to a real doctor who approaches helping you feel better with empathy and care. There are no bots and no automated responses when you work with us.
What makes Wyndly a popular 7DROPS competitor?
Wyndly is a popular 7DROPS competitor because Wyndly offers more focused, comprehensive allergy services. 7DROPS offers allergy testing as just one of its offerings and doesn’t provide any treatment options. Wyndly’s only offering is allergy treatment because our solution is dedicated to providing our patients with lifelong relief from their indoor and outdoor allergy symptoms.
With leading allergy researchers on the Wyndly team, you can rest assured that you’re getting the best allergy treatment plan possible for your individual allergy profile.

Why people choose Wyndly
Why choose Wyndly over other allergy solutions or over traditional in-person allergy treatment plans? There are plenty of reasons! Wyndly makes allergy treatment as convenient and painless as possible while also making it very affordable.
Some of the reasons people choose Wyndly to get relief from their allergy symptoms include:
Long-term allergy treatment at the source
Treatment by a real doctor with years of experience
No more in-office visits required
Affordable at-home allergy test kit
Painless and safe sublingual immunotherapy
Personalized treatment plans based on your allergy profile
Typically, people will deal with their indoor and seasonal allergies by avoiding their triggers and taking allergy medication during allergy season. At best, this manages your symptoms to a bearable level in the short term. Often, you’ll still have some bad days during allergy season, even if you’re taking steps to relieve your symptoms.
Wyndly provides long-term allergy treatment instead of short-term symptom management. We send sublingual immunotherapy treatment plans to your door. Sublingual immunotherapy treats allergies at the source. Using drops or tablets that are administered under the tongue, sublingual immunotherapy introduces small doses of your allergen to your immune system. Over time, this retrains your immune system to ignore or tolerate these substances. If your immune system is ignoring allergen substances, you don’t experience allergy symptoms.
Get treated by a real doctor
Wyndly team of U.S.-licensed physicians will design your allergy treatment plan, check in with you throughout your treatment, and be available to answer any questions you might have. Our doctors aren’t just online doctors. They have years of experience working at their own practice, which is led by experts from Stanford and Case Western. You can trust you’re in good hands when you choose Wyndly as your allergy treatment provider.
But the right qualifications aren’t the only thing you want out of a doctor. Wyndly’s doctors are friendly and approachable. Other solutions may have automated responses or doctors that will send your treatment plan and remain hands-off throughout the process. We’re committed to a comfortable doctor-patient relationship, so you aren’t left to your own devices during your treatment. Our doctors care about listening to your questions and concerns and ensuring you get better.

No more in-office visits
In-office visits are inconvenient at best, especially when it comes to allergy testing and treatment. One of the best parts of using Wyndly is that you no longer have to go to an office for allergy testing and treatment. Everything we offer can be done in the comfort of your own home.
However, some people are worried about remote doctors being impersonal. While this may be the case for many solutions, it’s not true with Wyndly. Our doctors will remain hands-on throughout the treatment process.
Allergy testing in person can be expensive and uncomfortable. In-person allergy treatment can be even more expensive, inconvenient, and uncomfortable. If you’re going to a doctor’s office for allergy treatment, you’re likely taking allergy shots, which can be painful. You also have to go to the doctor to take every dose. Sublingual immunotherapy, on the other hand, is painless and can be safely self-administered at home.
How is Wyndly different from other allergy medicines?
Wyndly is different from other allergy medicines because it’s a real treatment for allergies. Over-the-counter allergy medications and prescription allergy meds are useful for temporarily relieving your allergy symptoms, but they don’t treat your allergies at the source. Wyndly gives you access to sublingual immunotherapy, which can relieve your allergy symptoms for life after you’ve taken doses over time. Wyndly also connects you with a doctor who personalizes your treatment plan and will be available to you throughout your treatment for check-ins and questions.
Wyndly is also different from allergy treatments like allergy shots because you don’t have to go to the doctor, take time out of your day, and deal with needles. Sublingual immunotherapy is pain-free and can be taken at home.
Better doctors means better outcomes

"MADE A REAL IMPACT ON MY QUALITY OF LIFE
Wyndly helped me control and manage my seasonal and pet allergies, and made a real impact on my quality of life! Thanks Wyndly!
If you need to find out what you’re allergic to before getting started with a treatment plan, we make allergy testing convenient. Our at-home test kit will be sent right to your door. From there, you just need to do a simple finger prick to provide us with a sample. Send your completed kit back to us and we’ll determine your allergy profile. It’s that easy!
It’s also affordable. Many allergy tests are only covered by insurance if you prove that they’re medically necessary, and they’re not covered for investigative purposes. That’s why we’ve made our kit affordable, so you don’t have to deal with the hassle and expense that comes with in-person testing. Plus, in-person testing usually requires a skin prick test or a blood draw. Our test is easy and painless.
Test for indoor and outdoor environmental allergies like pets and pollen.

I've already been allergy tested — do I still need to buy a test?
No need to buy a new test — you can skip ahead! If you have an existing allergy test that is less than five years old, our physicians will review it and you can often get started with treatment right away!
Start with an existing allergy test review, which still includes a personalized treatment plan shared during a telehealth visit with your doctor.
How long does it take for my doctor to review my allergy history?
Our doctors typically review your history to see if you're a candidate within a few hours, and they will always complete the review within two business days. You'll get an email or text message asking you to schedule your follow-up when they've reviewed your history.
Who is a good candidate for sublingual immunotherapy?
You may be a good candidate for sublingual immunotherapy with Wyndly if you:
Want to live without allergies
Have seasonal or environmental allergy triggers (such as cats, dogs, pollen, or dust)
Can’t control your symptoms with over-the-counter medications
Don’t want to be stuck on allergy medication forever
Have had a bad reaction to an allergy medication
Want long-term allergy relief without painful shots
Want a dedicated doctor to help you
Are a child ages 5 and up whose parents are hoping to prevent them from getting asthma later in life
We cannot treat food allergies, but it's OK to take our treatments if you have food allergies. We also don't treat patients who are currently pregnant but can start right after delivery. We also cannot treat patients on beta blockers, a type of high blood pressure medication.
Can you treat multiple allergies at once?
Yes! Our providers are able to treat your pet, pollen, dust, and mold allergies all at once. This is the standard of care across allergists in the US and the world. While some providers only treat 1 or 2 allergens, most clinicians feel this won't solve all of your symptoms.
We treat all allergy triggers across the United States.
We do not treat food allergies currently.
What is the science behind sublingual immunotherapy?
Your sublingual immunotherapy prescription from your Wyndly doctor is a form of allergy exposure therapy or desensitization. By safely exposing your immune system to small doses of what you are allergic to, over time, your body becomes tolerant to your allergy triggers. This leads to a decrease in your allergy symptoms and can provide lifelong allergy relief. This also lets you avoid the negative side effects of allergy pills and sprays.
While antihistamines and nasal sprays can help manage symptoms when using the medications, allergy immunotherapy is the only scientifically proven method of creating long-term changes to your immune system to decrease symptoms. Wyndly makes lifelong allergy relief available to everyone through telemedicine and personalized allergy treatment plans.
The American Academy of Otolaryngology considers sublingual immunotherapy allergy drops capable of "help[ing] patients experience relief from allergy symptoms and improve their overall quality of life."
In 2003, and again in 2010, the Cochrane Review, an independent health care researcher, concluded in a systematic review of the available research that sublingual allergy immunotherapy is both effective and safe.
Why haven't I heard about this? Why hasn't my allergist told me about this?
Wyndly's treatment, at-home sublingual allergy immunotherapy, is not widely available. Your allergist probably only told you the treatments they could give you.
Before Wyndly, at-home sublingual allergy immunotherapy was usually only available at university hospitals like Johns Hopkins, Stanford, UCLA, or Harvard. Wyndly the first to give everyone easy and convenient access to at-home sublingual allergy immunotherapy therapy through telemedicine.
When will I feel better? Do I have to be on immunotherapy forever? How quickly will Wyndly work?
Studies show that patients see improvements in their allergy symptoms as early as 4 weeks, with very significant improvements after 6 months. All immunotherapy has similar treatment lengths due to similar medicines. For lifelong relief, patients stay on allergy shots for 3-5 years. At Wyndly, we see most of our patients complete their immunotherapy in 3 years.
How long will the results last?
Studies on patients using allergy immunotherapy have shown continued benefits at least eight years after stopping therapy. Most doctors would say allergy immunotherapy provides lifelong allergy relief.
The American Academy of Otolaryngology considers sublingual immunotherapy allergy drops capable of "help[ing] patients experience relief from allergy symptoms and improve their overall quality of life."
How effective is it? What if it doesn’t work for me? Do you have a guarantee?
You deserve lifelong allergy relief. We fix the root cause of your allergies. Wyndly uses a treatment backed by allergists, rhinologists, and ENTs across the country. Our treatment plans have an 85% success rate. We’re confident we can help you live allergy-free.
That's why we have our Allergy-Free Guarantee:
If you go through your treatment plan and your allergies don’t improve, we’ll give you a full refund within 90 days of starting your treatment.
What are the side effects of sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT)?
The number one side effect of sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) is significant allergy relief and reduced dependence on antihistamines and nasal sprays.
Sublingual immunotherapy is effective for 85% of patients. It requires placing a small amount of allergen extract under the tongue. It is a safe and effective alternative to allergy shots, with fewer side effects. However, like any medical treatment, SLIT can cause some side effects, which are generally mild and temporary. If these symptoms occur, the first step is to reduce your dosage — you don't have to stop immunotherapy!
Rare side effects (affecting less than 1 in 10,000 people) include:
Short-term (less than 15 minutes) irritation or tingling in the mouth or throat
Short-term increase in allergy symptoms for the first few weeks, as the body acclimates to treatment
Mild stomach discomfort or nausea for the first few weeks, as the body acclimates to treatment
Although these side effects are typically mild, it is important to monitor them and report any concerns to your Wyndly doctor.
If you ever have an emergency or think you are experiencing anaphylaxis, call 911.
How does sublingual immunotherapy compare to allergy shots?
A 2016 literature review in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology found both sublingual immunotherapy and allergy shots as effective at providing allergy relief, and it recommends the choice between the two be based on patient preference.
The American Academy of Otolaryngology considers sublingual immunotherapy allergy drops capable of "help[ing] patients experience relief from allergy symptoms and improve their overall quality of life" and as good as, if not better than, allergy shots.
The American Academy of Otolaryngologic Allergy recommends at-home sublingual immunotherapy treatments as a safe, at-home alternative to allergy shots.
Why is sublingual immunotherapy safer than allergy shots?
Research suggests that oral home immunotherapy has a better safety profile than allergy shots. Studies suggest this is due to the lower reactivity of the oral cavity immune system to allergens than the skin.
The clinical evidence suggests the risk of a severe reaction is 1 in 100 million doses. Out of 49 clinical trials utilized in the Cochrane review studies, there were no severe allergic reactions or cases of anaphylaxis. We recommend that every patient have a discussion about their specific risk with their Wyndly doctor prior to beginning therapy.
Can I switch from allergy shots to sublingual immunotherapy?
Yes! Many patients switch from allergy shots to sublingual immunotherapy when shots become inconvenient or intolerable for them. Sublingual therapy uses the same medications as allergy shots but they are dosed for oral usage at home.
If you have an existing allergy test that is less than two years old, please visit our existing allergy test page to get started!
What is the cost of ongoing treatment at Wyndly?
Your personalized treatment plan with sublingual immunotherapy, unlimited doctor support, and even free shipping is a subscription for $99/month paid annually, or $110/month paid quarterly. There are no additional surprise costs or copays. If you have a FSA or HSA card you can use it to cover the cost, just ask us for an HSA or FSA receipt.
The subscription covers your physician care, access to your allergist 24-7, and your medications shipped straight to your door until you have allergy relief. This price is more affordable than the cost of allergy shots through insurance, there are no uncomfortable needles or injections, and our treatment can save you lots of time.
Does Wyndly charge per allergen treated?
No! Our founding doctor is an allergy sufferer himself and believes that all patients should have access to the same pricing regardless of how many allergies they’re suffering from.
Does it work for pet dander?
Immunotherapy is the only long-term treatment for pet allergies. Research shows that sublingual immunotherapy improves pet allergy symptoms. In 2007, a double-blinded placebo-controlled study from the Journal of Allergy showed that sublingual immunotherapy can improve cat allergies.
The Cochrane review on sublingual immunotherapy also included studies treating cat allergies and also found that the treatment had good efficacy.
Do you test for or treat food allergies?
Wyndly only tests for and treats environmental allergies like pollen, pet dander, and dust. We currently do not test for or treat food allergies.
There are a number of promising therapies currently undergoing clinical trials, and we are optimistically awaiting the results.
Do you treat patients outside the USA?
Currently, we are only practicing within the United States. Our physicians are only licensed to practice medicine here so we are unable to work with patients outside of the country. We'd love to expand to other countries in the future!
Can Wyndly work for my child? Do you work with children?
Yes! Our doctors have worked with many children because under-the-tongue therapy is often easier for children than allergy shots. Plus, parents appreciate the convenience of home-based therapy. Sublingual immunotherapy can be used safely for children 5 years and up.
Who is not a fit for sublingual immunotherapy?
People with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) or mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) are contraindicated for Wyndly treatment.
If you are pregnant, we cannot start treatment during pregnancy, but we can start soon after the delivery of your baby. Our number one goal is to keep our patients safe.
All other Wyndly services, including the treatment subscription, accept HSA and FSA insurance. We're happy to provide HSA and FSA receipts, on request.
After copays, medicine costs, deductibles, and premiums, traditional allergy immunotherapy, in office and with insurance, is usually twice as expensive compared to Wyndly.
What is your refund and return policy? Do you have a guarantee?
We offer an Allergy-Free Guarantee which is a 90-Day 100% Money-Back Promise. If you go through your treatment plan and every treatment check-in and still don’t improve your allergies, we’ll give you a full refund of treatment cost within 90 days of starting your treatment.
With regards to the allergy test kit, once we process your at-home allergy test kit sample and have your diagnostic results, we cannot issue a refund for the test kit. However, refunds are possible prior to having your diagnostic test kit shipped to you. Any shipped medicine is not refundable.
