The number one side effect of sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) is significant allergy relief and reduced dependence on antihistamines and nasal sprays.

Sublingual immunotherapy is effective for 85% of patients. It requires placing a small amount of allergen extract under the tongue. People with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) or mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) are contraindicated for Wyndly treatment.
